The requests of our client, the Irish branch of an important European insurance company, are very clear: Informal environment, familiar Christmas atmosphere, elegant details, and 1960’s embellishments.
What we do is put together, in an old, rural restructured complex, original furniture, dried flowers, red berries, white porcelain and crystal, all held together with the warm embrace of natural wood.
What else? Oh yes…The Beatles were playing in a corner, or at least they sounded a lot like them….
Find a location with a vintage atmosphere in which a welcoming and informal ambiance is recreated and characterized by the imminent Christmas holidays. Our choice fell upon a group of old rural buildings, perfectly restored and transformed into cozy lofts.
The furniture that we chose are original pieces, dated from the 40’s to the 70’s: tables of various shapes and dimensions with mismatched chairs, everything mixed with antiques and other elegant, retro decorative elements.
In line with the wishes of the client, we chose original cotton and lace runners from the 1950’s for the tables, not classic tablecloths.
We are careful in recreating the environment of the requested era, fusing it with that of Christmas by choosing and using the right decorative elements.
The typical Anglo-Saxon vintage atmosphere is highlighted by music in the second half of the evening thanks to a Beatles cover band that covers the entire classic repertoire of the “Fab Four”, all dressed in clothes that made “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” famous.
